A coffee scoop to take you from caddy to cafetiere, this copper-finished spoon has a cylindrical counterweight that allows it to stand upright, and a contrasting bowl of brilliant polished steel. It has been engineered to sit perfectly on the lid of the Tom Dixon Brew Caddy whenever its services are not needed.
The volume of the scoop is 30ml; around 15g of ground coffee. Not dish-washer safe. Wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Born in Tunisia, Tom Dixon moved to England in 1963. He dropped out of the Chelsea School of Art to play bass in the band “Funkapolitan” before teaching himself first to weld, then to produce furniture.
Tom rose to prominence in the mid-1980’s as “the talented untrained designer with a line in welded salvage furniture”.
